Twin Berth delivers greater flexibility
By investing in our infrastructure, we are further expanding and improving our services. With the completion of Twin Berth - two 180-metre vessels are able to berth at once. This provides more flexibility for our customers, helping them to move product to market as quickly and reliably as possible.
New containerisation opportunities
The Twin Berth, coupled with a Government-funded container handler, means we have the facilities to move large volumes of containerised cargo.
For our local producers, whether they’re exporting wood products, kiwifruit, squash, wine or manufactured products, this changes what’s possible. Being able to ship containers directly from Tairāwhiti removes barriers, cuts costs, and helps our local businesses scale.
We’re ready to support commercial volumes and to work with growers, exporters and freight partners who want resilient, regionally-based solutions.
